About Lizzie

Lizzie Garrett launched DESIGNwatcher.com in October of 2006 as a way to explore online publishing and cultivate her passion for all things design. In addition to editing and producing DESIGNwatcher.com, Lizzie is a Chicago-based (relocated from L.A. in September of '07) freelance writer who covers fashion, design, interiors, food and travel. In early 2007 she primarily wrote for the Los Angeles Times' newly-launched Image section. Prior to being a freelance writer Lizzie worked as an editor at Bon Appétit Magazine.
